The Tower Automation Alliance participates as Gold sponsor in the Telefónica’s 14th Global Workshop on Energy and Climate Change

  • The Tower Automation Alliance will participate one more year in Telefónica’s Global Energy and Climate Change Workshop, an event that companies attend by invitation only

In this edition, held in Sao Paulo, the Tower Automation Alliance has gone a step further and participates as Gold sponsor giving the opportunity to 3 of its members to attend the event together. The companies that will take this advantage are Atrebo and Hybrico (Leading members) and Padtec (Tech member).

The participation in such international events is one of the advantages for members as companies benefit from the collaborative working environment offered by the Alliance, which allows companies to achieve global visibility to promote their products and strengths by participating in events.

In addition, thanks to the Gold category, attendees can participate in partner sessions and discussion panels together with other invited companies such as Huawei, Vertiv, Nokia, among others.

The topics to be addressed in this edition are net-zero Emissions, value chain emissions and compensation, initiatives to reduce fuel consumption, refrigerants and environmental impact, technology and ESaaS and other topics all related to energy and climate change.

The main objective of the event is to promote innovation to reduce Telefónica’s energy consumption and carbon footprint globally. It is a meeting point that has been held for 14 years and brings together the leaders in energy transformation of the company and the main collaborating companies in the field.

During the 3-day event, the latest initiatives in energy efficiency and renewable energy will be presented and shared in order to set new challenges between the areas of companies responsible for network infrastructure, finances, purchasing and sustainability.

Each year, the event brings together more than 250 participants from all the countries in which Telefónica operates. The Telefónica Global Energy and Climate Change Workshop is an event that this year celebrates its 14th edition, making it a consolidated and key event for the promotion of a low-carbon economy in the company.

Telefónica aims for a world where technology contributes to protecting the planet. Therefore, it is committed to a global environmental strategy at different levels aligned with its business strategy. The environment is an issue that concerns the entire company, and therefore involves both operational and management areas, as well as business and innovation areas.

The Tower Automation Alliance is an association of companies that are concerned with climate change and the development of projects around renewable energy and energy systems to reduce consumption and improve efficiency to contribute to environmental sustainability.

In this regard, the companies that are part of the alliance have the same concerns and also work to contribute to environmental sustainability.

Atrebo is a multinational company specialised in the development of critical infrastructure lifecycle management solutions, and has a specialised energy solution TREE Energy.

Hybrico, on the other hand, offers comprehensive software-based Power-as-a-Service and Backup-as-a-Service solutions that allow its customers to focus their capital investments on core expansions, reducing their operating expenses and increasing uptime.

Finally, Padtec is a Brazilian multinational that aims to bring high-capacity connections to life.
