- The 15th Global Workshop on Energy and Climate Change 2024 took place in October 22nd to 25th in Barranquilla, Colombia
The Tower Automation Alliance attended together with its Leading member Atrebo and Tech members Leoch and 3Tech to the Global Workshop where every year more than 250 attendees from all the countries in which Telefónica operates meet. The main goal is to take advantage of the current opportunities that abound in this field and to encourage innovation in order to reduce Telefónica’s energy consumption and carbon footprint at a global level.
In this occasion, Gabriel Bonilha, Business Development Manager at Atrebo participated in the individual session presenting the latest innovations of the TREE Energy solution and shared some of Atrebo’s latest developments, including artificial intelligence functionalities. Pablo Casado de las Heras, Head of Global Data Center & Core Sites at Telefónica, also joined Gabriel Bonilha on stage.
This co-marketing action allows members of the Tower Automation Alliance to participate and attend international events as Tier 1 sponsors. In this way companies have the opportunity to achieve global visibility in a collaborative working environment and to promote their initiatives.
Leoch company was represented during the 3 day-event by Elias Asimakopoulos, Global Key Accounts Director, and from 3Tech King Cheng, Executive Director, and also Sol Skendele, Regional Manager.
In addition, our also Leading member Hybrico was also at the event. Jussara Tassini, Country Manager Brazil & Latam Strategy Manager Telecom presented the latest updates on Energy Saving as a Service for Cooling Systems.
This international event is a meeting point of leaders in energy transformation from all countries. The main objective was to promote innovation to reduce Telefónica’s energy consumption and carbon footprint globally.
The main topics discussed were sustainable finance, energy efficiency, initiatives for optimisation of electricity consumption, circular economy, digitalisation of energy management, value chain emissions and neutralisation, among others.
The Telefónica Global Energy and Climate Change Workshop is an event that this year celebrated its 15th edition, making it a consolidated and key event for the promotion of a low-carbon economy in the company.
